Chloe Jones Becomes the First British Woman to Podium in the Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship
Donington Park, UK — The roar of engines and the cheers of the home crowd were the perfect backdrop for a truly historic moment in British motorsport. GR Motosport is thrilled to announce that Chloe Jones has secured a sensational 3rd place finish in the World Women’s Circuit Racing (World WCR) Championship — the first-ever podium finish by a British woman in the series.
What makes this moment even more special? It happened on home soil. Under the blazing sun at the iconic Donington Park Race Circuit, Chloe took our GR Motosport Yamaha R7 into a fiercely contested battle, crossing the line in third and etching her name into the history books.
“This podium is more than just a result — it’s a statement,” said Team Principal Brent Gladwin. “It represents the hard work, determination, and belief of not just Chloe, but the entire GR Motosport family. Massive credit to my incredibly dedicated team — Danny, DK, Gary, and Clare — whose tireless effort and commitment made this dream a reality.”
