GR MOTOSPORT Preview OULTON PARK

SILVERSTONE left the Team and our Technical Partners scratching our heads and with work to do, the engine issues on the Superbike resonated through most departments in the Team from cost through to Performance. The Superstock while making a solid starts showed that we are in for one hell of a season long battle to secure podium results.

STARLINE Racing Kawasaki Superbike

Storm Stacey on board the STARLINE Powered by LKQ Euro Car Parts Kawasaki performed well at Silverstone which we know is not really the best circuit bike combination for the ZX10RR. We had a good single lap and race pace which we didn’t get to show at Silverstone due to the problems we encountered so now we are looking forward to Oulton.

Oulton will see a new engine which has performed well on the dyno but we have not had time to give her a blast on the track and as we all know that is where as they say the proof is in the pudding.

Storm Stacey said: “the results at Silverstone were not what we are looking for, I know that the Team has been working hard to fix the problems and I have been working my side too. Oulton is a track I really enjoy, in fact it is one of my favourites so I am really looking forward to the bank holiday weekend and hope to see you all there”

STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki Superstock 1000

The Kawasaki ZX10RR Superstock bike and Joe Francis are a formidable combination this season. 2 strong finishes at the unflavoured Silverstone see us sitting 6th overall in the championship. We will continue to make improvements with the arrival of 2023 ZX10RR at a circuit we have tasted much success before and look to continue that trend this coming weekend!

Joe Francis said: “I feel good and I am looking forward to my home round this weekend, the ZX10RR is good at Oulton Park and I am ready to get the best results we can for my Team and all the sponsors and fans
