GR Motosport bring Luke Mossey back in to BSB action with STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki
The STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki team have called up Bennetts British Superbike Championship race winner Luke Mossey to deputise at Donington Park this weekend (17/18/19 May) for Tom Neave who continues his recovery from injury.
Mossey has celebrated multiple podiums previously with Kawasaki and his most recent podium finish came last season at Donington Park, so he is looking forward to getting back on track this weekend with the STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki team.
Mossey said: “I can’t wait to get back on track this weekend, especially with such a well-established and professional team as GR Motosport. I was with Kawasaki for five years and it is a bike that I wanted to get back on if there was ever the opportunity as I had always had a good experience with it. Now here is my chance at Donington Park, which is a circuit that has always come naturally to me and I have had quite a bit of success there – I have finished on the podium in every class I have raced in at that track!
“After not being on the grid so far this season, this weekend can’t come soon enough and I need to thank Brent and everyone at STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki for getting me back out at Donington Park.”
Team Owner Brent Gladwin commented:” Tom is still on the road to recovery and although things are progressing very well we are not there just yet. After a discussion between Iain Stansbie (STAUFF UK) Tom and Myself we decided to look for a substitute to race the STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki ZX10RR Superbike for this weekend’s races and who better at Donington Park than #12 Luke Mossey.
Luke has great experience on the ZX10 and has had some great results at Donington. Luke will be working with my Team who are new to him but I feel he will quickly settle in and enjoy a good weekends racing.
