GR Motosport sign Chloe Jones for a FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship wild card

GR Motosport are excited to announce that talented racer Chloe Jones will represent the team in the upcoming WorldWCR at Jerez. With a proven track record and a passion for the sport, Chloe is set to make her mark at the final round of the 2024 season.

Brent Gladwin GR Motosport Managing Director “The last round of World Superbikes has become somewhat of an annual trip for Danny and I and this year is to be a little different as we have secured a wild card for Chloe in the WorldWCR Championship. We believe her skills and competitive spirit will bring a new dynamic to our team, and we are excited to support her at this event.

Chloe came to our attention at Oulton Park 2023 when at the end of the race weekend, we were busy packing away when Chloe’s race was on. A few of our key workers were missing and when asked where they were, I was told they were cheering Chloe on in her race in which she did a stunning job. She has continued this great form into the 2024 season, securing 4th overall in her Championship standings, collecting podiums and lap records along the way.

The WorldWCR is known for its fierce competition and dedication to promoting female athletes in motorsports. GR Motosport is committed to fostering inclusivity and empowering women in racing, making Chloe’s involvement a key aspect of the team’s mission and we are pleased to give her the opportunity to race against the best Women in the world at Jerez.”

Danny Wright commented: – “It’s a great opportunity for GR Motosport to showcase what we can do returning to the world stage and I’m excited to start this new project with Chloe.  The WorldWCR has been super competitive this year and we will enter the championship hoping to mix it up with the very best.”

Chloe Jones said: – “When Brent called and told me GR Motosport had got me a wild card ride in the Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship at Jerez I couldn’t believe it.

The last few days have been a bit of a whirlwind getting everything sorted, and I can’t thank Brent and Danny enough.

I am excited to join GR Motosport for the WorldWCR race at Jerez. This opportunity means the world to me, and I’m eager to showcase my abilities with such an established team. I am looking forward to competing at the highest level of our sport. I want to do The Team and everyone who has supported and believes in me really proud at this event.

I am looking forward to finishing this year on a high doing what I love, this time on a World Stage.”
