CHLOE JONES FIRST RIDE ON GR MOTOSPORT WORLDWCR YAMAHA R7

In preparation for our first full season in the Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) with 21-year-old Daventry resident Chloe Jones – GR Motosport has prepared a test program and team lead by Danny Wright in readiness for the first race at Assen in Holland on the 11th to 13th of April.

BRENT GLADWIN GR MOTOSPORT MANAGING DIRECTOR SAID: – “Chloe’s performance at Jerez last year was incredible but we felt the disadvantage in lack of experience with the bike and the circuit, so we have invested in this test program to negate that disadvantage in this our first full season in the Championship.

“Having built two Yamaha R7’s to the exact WorldWCR specification The Test team will take Chloe to every track before the event to help Chloe achieve the best possible results this season. The one slight issue is Assen where there is no private motorcycle track opportunity before the event so Chloe will learn the circuit in a race car this weekend!

“We started the process of helping Chloe and the Yamaha R7 a strong package at Cartagena with two good days and moved to Monteblanco for another great 3 days where Chloe’s confidence really started to shine as Woman and Machine became one.

“Next stops are Rocco’s Ranch, Circuit Carole before visiting the Netherlands and returning to the UK, to prepare for The Official Press Day and Cremona test all before the first round at Assen..

Things are going well and we are looking forward to a great season racing against the best Women in the world.

WorldWCR while in its infancy is certainly attracting global attention with the highest level of action on the track.
