LKQ EURO CAR PARTS ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP FOR STARLINE BRAND WITH GR MOTOSPORT BRITISH SUPERBIKE TEAM

LKQ EURO CAR PARTS ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP FOR STARLINE BRAND WITH GR MOTOSPORT BRITISH SUPERBIKE TEAM

Starline powered by LKQ Euro Car Parts has agreed a two-year partnership deal with GR Motosport, with Storm Stacey riding in this year’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship as Starline Racing Kawasaki.

The new agreement follows a successful first two years of partnership for LKQ Euro Car Parts and Sheffield-based GR Motorsport, and the start of a new era with the Starline brand front and centre.

Brent Gladwin, Team Principal of GR Motosport commented: “We’re delighted to be continuing our partnership with LKQ Euro Car Parts, and the new and striking Starline Racing livery will really stand out in the Bennetts British Superbikes Championship.

“Storm Stacey is heading into his fifth season with the team, where we are now looking for him to regularly challenge the factory bikes in the top 10. The Starline powered by LKQ Euro Car Parts branding will also feature on Our STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki of Joe Francis in the National Superstock Championship.

Storm Stacey added: “I’m looking forward to representing the Starline brand, which is becoming increasingly popular in the motorsports and motoring communities. Everyone in the team has been hard at work over winter to get us ready for the first race at Silverstone in a couple of weeks’ time. We can’t wait to unveil the new Starline Racing livery, which looks brilliant.”

Colin Cottrell, Marketing Director at LKQ Euro Car Parts said: “We are very much looking forward to seeing what Storm and the GR Motosport Team can do in the forthcoming season as part of the Starline Racing team – and we are pleased to be building the profile of a brand we passionately believe in.

“The Starline brand was established in 1999 and today includes more than 35,000 products, covering more than 90% of spare parts for passenger vehicles, and sold in 19 countries across Europe. Through the Bennetts British Superbike Championship we can reach both of our target audiences – garages and bodyshops, who can use Starline to grow their margins without compromising on quality, and drivers, who can access great quality parts at the right pricepoint for them.”

Further information about GR Motorsport’s additional Pirelli National Superstock 1000 entries will be announced in due course.

In the meantime, this latest development provides GR Motosport’s sponsors, partners and affiliated businesses with an unparalleled package of motorsport content, events, exposure and the best hospitality in the paddock across multiple high-profile racing series in 2023.
